Flash menu!
Right, I have put together a Flash Menu- this is only basic, but all buttons etc work!
Obviously, it has no opening animation etc and the basic buttons will be replaced with better ones- its only a mock up :P
Ill stick up some screen shots, and am uploading the .swf to dropbox so y'all can have a play with it!

Intro + handling metalwork storyboards
Here are the storyboards I showed you in class today.
The intro: stop motion animation of cutlery inspired by the history of Sheffield, references are made to the rivers and water power which promoted the industries and the growth of the city (and therefore its population). The history is not meant to be told in a objective way, it was just the inspiration for the animation, however it may still be recognized by some.

Metalwork handling: The idea is to have stop motion clips showing how metalwork should be handled and what to avoid. They are meant to be fun and short. Here are 3 examples.
Ideas
THis is a quick example of what I would like the background to look like, as well as the button before, during clicking, and then after.
SO it would start of whole, crack and explode, then change into the object. Sick!

Creating flash memory games research.
Just had a quick look around for any ways of creating a flash memory/ match the card game in flasg.
I found three links that look promising.
1)http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/topic/10151-create-a-memory-game-with-actionscript/
2)http://www.emanueleferonato.com/2008/05/02/creation-of-a-matching-game-with-flash-and-as3/
3)http://www.ehow.com/how_7355693_make-memory-game-flash.html
It's all looking pretty ActionScript intensive!
Cheers
